STYX-HAREWOOD W.D.F.U.
The Stvx-FTarewood branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union held its December meeting in the Highsted Road mission hall. Airs R. Jones presided over a large attendance. The president spoke of the conference to he held from January 15 to January 18, and urged members to attend. The sixpenny gift was won by Airs Oollinson. with Airs J. M’Jarrow second. Songs were given by Mr,s R. Donald, with Airs Beker as accompanist, and recitations by Mesdames Marwick and Hilton. A vote of thanks was accorded the performers. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames R. Alayne, E. Smith, F. Claridge and N. A. Fraser.
