AVIATION DRAMA.
A programme of more than usual merit is offered at the Grand Theatre this week. “Night Flight,” a stirring aviation drama with six stars in the cast, heads the bill. In addition, there is an excellent list of short features of topical interest. Helen Ilayes. John Barrymore, Clark Gable, Robert Montgomery, Lionel Barrymore and Myrna Lov are the featured players in “ Night Flight.” a thrilling drama devoid of mock heroics and overdone sentimentality. It is a true-to-life story of the work of the mail-carriers. The picture does not glorify the flyers—it merely throw’s light on their dangerous calling with a view to stimulating public interest and appreciation Every foot of the film is packed with thrills, suspense and wholesome humour.
