Foreign Secretary Takes Legal Action. LONDON, December 8. A writ has been issued on behalf of Sir John Simon (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs) in respect of statements that he is interested in armament firms and that the conduct of foreign affairs is affected thereby. The defendants are not disclosed.
