Prices in Auckland and Australia. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, This Dav. As chairman of the Metropolitan Milk Council, the Mavor (Mr G. W. Hutchison) while in Australia observed the milk supply system in Melbourne and Sydney. He said that the people in both cities would consider themselves fortunate if they had to pav no more than was paid in Auckland. ’ The price in Sydney was 8d a quart for raw milk and 7d for pasteurised. In Melbourne raw milk cost s*d and pasteurised 6id.
