RACES AT HORORATA. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15. FARES. Special Excursion Tickets will be issued to Coalgate from ChristchurchIvirwee and intermediate stations on direct line of route on December 15 by trains arriving Coalgate up to 11.30 a.m., available for return on day of issue only. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. Passenger train will leave Christchurch at 10.0 a.m. and will take passengers from Christchurch and Addington only. Connects at Darfield with special train arriving Coalgate at 11.25 a.m. Passengers for the races from other stations will require to travel by the usual 8.50 a.m. Christchurch-Darfield train, which will connect at Darfield with special train arriving Coalgate at 11.25 a.m. Usual 11.25 am. Darfield-Whitecliffs train will run earlier between Darfield and Coalgate and will leave Darfield at 11.0 am. Return train leaves Coalgate at 6.30 p.m. and arrives Christchurch at 8.10 p.m. This train will stop where required to set down passengers and shunt off horseboxes. Buses will connect at Coalgate with special trains for passengers to and from the Races. Special fast train conveying horses for the Races will leave Christchurch at 8.30 am. and arrive Coalgate 10.30 a.m. It will lift horses at Addington, Sockburn, Templeton and Rolleston. Passenger accommodation will be provided on the special train. Should the Races be Postponed, the Special Trains will NOT run.
