Six months ago a man lost bis watch in Shotley Bridge Mill Pond, near Consett, Durham, while rescuing a doj£. Recently the pond was emptied in readiness for transferring trout to the river, and the watch was found. A member! of the Derwent Angling Association wound up the watch, which began to go immediately. Now a search is being made for the owner of the watch.
