The dentists of Christchurch have agreed to arrange for an examination of the teeth of about fifty pupils at the Christchurch Technical College, so that the Board of Governors may learn something of the dental condition of those pupils who are in their second, third and fourth years at the college. The examination will be made at no expense to the college. This arrangement was reported to the meeting of the Boar 4 of Governors of the College last night, after a letter was received from the Health Department stating that in view of the fact that the school dental service was limited to primary schools, the Department regretted that it could not see its way to accede to the board’s request.
