Luscombe danced through the programme, while Tom King, apart from leading his orchestra in his usual accomplished manner, gave a splendid pianoforte solo of Liszt’s “ Fantasie.” liis playing of “ Pipes of Pan,” with singing by Ann Luciano, was given a hearty reception. Apart from the indispensable support they lent to the various “ frolics,” the ballet were seen to advantage in their own number, an impression of “ The South Express.” Not the least popular numbers on the programme were those provided by Clem Da we and his “ rhythm boys ” (Bob Bradford’s orchestra).
