In gaining: first and second places in relay running in open competition out of ten teams representing seven clubs the members of the New Brighton Athletic Club excelled themselves on Tuesday evening. U. Kempthorne in winning the open 100yds showed great promise. R. L-oWe should Avin shortly on his recent showing. A. Weyman is recording faster times than any pre\uous New Brighton runner over longer distances, and H. Cook is a junior runner of promise. The wohien's section is Av r eak through lack of runners.
