GARDEN PARTY.

Southbridge Parishioners’ Effort. A garden party was held in the beautiful grounds of St JanVes’s vicarage, Southbridge. on Tuesday afternoon in aid of the funds of the Young People’s Club. Mrs C. L. Wilson and Miss Viva Dyce were joint hostesses. Croquet was enjoyed, both competitions being won by Mrs R. F. Pilkington. The following contributed to an excellent programme:—Mrs W. C. Eggelton and Miss P3ggelton (duet), Miss Wraight, Dunsandel (vocal solos), Miss Lewton (pianoforte solo), Mrs T. H. Bennett (humorous recitation). Misses Lewton and Eggelton were the accompanists. A treasure hunt was won by Mrs Wilkinson. Many gifts of eggs and jam for St Saviour’s Orphanage were handed in by members of the Mothers’ Union. Among those present were:—Mesdames C. L. Wilson, R.
