Mrs C. G. Sommers’s Pupils Give Performance. The women of Canterbury are well aware of the splendid work done by the Home Service Association in solving many housekeeping problems and in obtaining work for women and girls, as well as taking a personal interest in their welfare. This work, however, needs a financial backing, and to aid the association’s funds, Mrs C. G. Sommers and her pupils gave a vocal recital last evening at St John’s schoolroom. Latimer Square.
