Modern Uses Displayed at Show. The exhibit of the Peerless Rubber Company, Ltd , of 105, Cashel Street, Christchurch, reflects great credit on its managing director. Mr C. J. Berryman, and his staff. Mr Berryman has been associated with the wholesale and retail distribution of rubber goods for the past twenty-five years, and, if the exhibit of his company is a standard of his knowledge and capabilities, then the future success of the Peerless Rubber Company, Ltd .is assured. We venture to predict that this company will eventually become the foremost re- ' tail distributors for rubber goods throughout New Zealand. A special feature of the Peerless Rubber exhibit is the manner in which their goods are displayed. Wherever possible, they are arranged in their true setting for use. For instance, a modern bathroom and kitchenette have been erected for the purpose of displaying various grades of Rubber Flooring, and Sponge Rubber Mats in which the Peerless Rubber Company are specialising. It is not generally known that rubber flooring is now superseding linoleum owing to its lasting qualities, silence, cleanliness and general utility. It is ideal for either wooden or concrete surfaces and for shop front and counters, and has many other uses. Both the bathroom and kitchenette arc also fitted with various rubber lines in general household use. A novelty exhibit for the children is a wonderful display of Inflated Rubber Toys in a specially erected water tank. The Peerless Rubber Company, Ltd , have just landed a large shipment of Inflated Animals, Fish, Beach Balls, Rafts, Lifebuoys and Boats, and this display is well worth inspecting. An exhibit of interest to dairy farmers is the display of Read’s Direct Supply Milking Machine, fitted with Barnet Glass Milker Rubberware. The Peerless Rubber Company, Ltd., are retail distributors for the two leading lines of Milker Rubberware, namely, Barnet Glass and Perdriau, which are fitted and recommended by nearly all the leading milking machine manufacturers and vendors throughout New Zealand and Australia. Rubber Bowls are also displayed on a miniature bowling green. It is onlv of recent years that Rubber Bowls have been manufactured, but they are proving so superior to the wooden bowl under all climatic conditions, and are now used by so many New Zealand and Australian champions, that their future success is assured. Rubber Bowls must not be confused with the ordinary composition bowl. Cycle Covers and Tubes are specially featured. The Peerless Rubber ( ompany, Ltd , have had speciallv manufactured for them by one of the largest rubber manufacturers in England the special “ Peerless ” Cycle 1 over - This cover carries a twelve months’ written guarantee, and is being retaileed by the Peerless Rubber Company, Ltd., at the very attractive price of 3s 9d each.
