It is revealed that two • American citizens. Miss Isobel Steele and Richard Roderer, who were spending a holiday in Germany, have been imprisoned for several months without trial on unspecified charges of treason. American intervention has proved fruitless and the Consul is making an effort to prevent the People’s Court, which can inflict the death penalty, from trying the cases.
