Clem Dawe Company Offers Bright Programme.

“The Show of Shows,” a combination of original sketches, music, song and dancing, which goes with a svvin <r from beginning to end, is offered nighu ly by Clem Dawe and his merry band at St James Theatre. The programme is one of the brightest that this very talented company has presented in its Christchurch season, and there is a welcome freshness about all the items. Clem Dawe is in his best form in leading the tunmaking, and his numerous sketches are both clever and entertaining. Dorothy White, soubrette, is an excellent fffertner for the comedian in a number or his appearan.ces, and Les White. Cliff Edgley and Joe Shriner provide capable support.
