Reports and Returns on Operations. ELECTROLYTIC ZINC.

Mount Isa Mines report on operations for the 1 week ended October 20— Ore milled, 9732 tons; silver-lead bullion produced, 551 tons; bullion railed to Townsville. 549 tons. Clutha River. The Clutha River Oold Dredging Company announces that the contract for the pontoon and superstructure of the company’s dredge has been placed, and the first shipment of the materials i* expected to be made early in December. Maori Gully. The launching of the pontoons for the < J ul , yl . Oold Dredging Company's dredge took place at the week-end. The pontoons are 89 feet in length. 28 feet in breadth and 7 feet deep, and are built of heart of red pine. The dredge, which is designed to put through up to 60,000 cubic yards monthly, is expected to commence operations very early in the new year. The preliminary construction work was commenced in May last, and fifteen men have been engaged in the construction of the pontoons. A number of additional men will now he put on. When completed, the dredge will be a very strong, up-to-date machine It will be electrically driven, and already the power Is connected up, and is being used in the construction work. Talisman Dubbo.
