PRISONERS SENTENCED.
Per Press Association. WANGANUI, This Day. In the Supreme Court to-day prisoners were sentenced as follows:—Wm. Garforth, robbery with violence, three years’ hard labour; Sydney Laurence Check, carnal knowledge, two years’ probation; Rangi Martin. horse-steal-ing, two years’ hard labour; and Michael Ansley, indecent assault, remanded till Friday for a report from the gaol surgeon.
