A Parody on Wallace.
The late Edgar Wallace has reappeared on the Berlin stage as a character in “ The Nerve Saw," described as a “ play with music,” which parodies with a Gilbertian wit the most bloodcurdling devices of detective-story writers. This play was written, its music composed, its scenery designed, and its principal roles are played by four young students of dramatic art from Munich, who call themselves “ The Four Executioners.”
