N.Z. AIR RACE ENTRY.

Wireless Operator Included in Crew. (Special to the ** Star.**) AUCKLAND. October 18. The third member of the crew of the New Zealand Centenary Air Race Com mittee’s entry, the de Havilland Rapide, is Mr Frank Stewart, of Auckland. who will act as wireless operator on the flight. It is also possible that he will accompany Squadron-Leader J. D Hewett and Flying-Officer C. E. Kay, both of Auckland, if they decide to fly the Tasman at the conclusion of the London-Melbourne race. Mr Stewart, who travelled from Auckland to England with the other members of the Rapide’s crew last July, is better known in New Zealand as a newspaper photographer, who specialises in aerial work.
