EMPIRE SERVICE LEAGUE.
The annual meeting of the New Zealand Empire Service League was held n. Christchurch yesterday. Officers wet* nominated and declared elected as follows. if they will accept election:-—Pat-ron, the Prime Minister (the Right Hon G. W. Forbes): president. Mr C. RJones": vice-presidents, Auckland, Alessrs J. Seabrook, S. Tnkle, H. G. Beechey, A. H. Nathan; Wellington. Messrs P. J. Nathan. T. R. Kirk. M.8.E.. L. O IT. Tripp, E. Goulden and Captain M. do K. Barclay; Christchurch. Messrs G. Tench, C. E. Jones, D. Crozier. R. E. MaeDniigall and Davies; Dunedin. Messrs George Crow. W. G. Kindley, James Hogg and J. G. Jeffrey. The annual report stated that much ground had been covered during the past two years. The publicity shop was visited by hundreds of people. A tribute was paid to the work done by Mrs E. A. Hotchkin, organiser to the league.
