PARISHIONERS’ DANCE.
Held in St Chad’s Hall, Linwood. entertaining items. The dances held in St Chad’s Parish Hall. Linvcood. are always enjoyable, and that held on Thursday last was no exception to the rule. It was organised by the Rev \V. S. Southward and a committee comprising Mcsdames J. Ives T Petrie, T. Richards, W. Stanhope, T. W. Wilson, R. Wright, Miss Ruth Richards and Messrs C. Butterfield W S. Grigg, W. Stanhope, R. Wright and Harry Hill. Cards were played by a few in the lounge, which had been tastefully decorated with spring flowers. Music was supplied byBuddy Smart’s Orchestra, and extras were played by Mrs F. Smith. The following items were contributed: Mr C. O'Hagan, songs; Miss Iris Shepherd, tap dances, and Mr D. Shepherd, tap and eccentric dances. Novelty dances were won by Miss N. M’Cullough and Mr J. Fielding and Mesdames Ives and Holloway. Mr' W. S. Grigg was M.C. Those present Included: Mesdames Tv.
