RETAINER CANCELLED.

RJohnstone that the retainer paid by the former to the latter should cease. Johnstone, says “ The Times ” expert, is a most capable rider, but, unfortunately, is riding for a stable that is out of form. No jockey can win on horses that are not good enough, and nothing is more likely to make a jockey ride an occasional indifferent race than riding a series of losers.
