FISHERIES ARGUMENT.

British Official Wireless. RUGBY, July IS. Britain’s protest to .Norway, drawing attention to the cases of interference by Norwegian naval vessels with British trawlers engaged in fishing some from the Norwegian coast, has been the subject of two communications which at present are undergoing careful examination in London, where it is felt that certain points still remain in need ot further elucidation. The general desire is expressed in London that a mutually satisfactory agreement should be reached without undue delay. In the meatime the British fishery patrol vessel Harebell, will shortly proceed to the fishing grounds so that her commander, Captain Fraser, who is newly appointed, may familiarise himself with conditions there. Captain Fraser will get into touch with the commander of the Norwegian fishery patrol with a view to a joint inspection of the fishing grounds. The Norwegian Government has been informed that the Harebell hopes to reach Tromso on July 2S.
