STUD SHEEP BOUGHT.
N.Z. Breeder’s Purchases From Australia. (Special to the “ Star.**> AUCKLAND. July 18. Mr C. O. T. Rutherford, of Blenheim, and Mr G. O. Rutherford, of Christchurch, who have been attending sheep sales in Australia, arrived at Auckland on the Wanganella to-day. Mr C. O. T. Rutherford purchased fifteen special stud ewes in South Australia and Mr G. O. Rutherford a special Murray ram from the same State. They complained of an absence of New Zealand news m the Australian papers.
