150 M.P.H. AIR SERVICE.

New Company to Operate in Australia. LONDON. July 10. Planes with a cruising speed of 150 m.p.h. will be added to the fleet now operated by New England Airways, and the Sydney-Brisbane service will be extended to Melbourne as a result of the formation of a new company. Further extensions of the services are contemplated, with progressive establishment of manufacture in Australia.

The company, which has been formed as a result of negotiations by Mr G. A. Robinson, managing director of New England Airways, who has been investigating planer and equipment in Britain and America, will acquire the planes, equipment, and hangars of New England Airways. Completion of arrangements was announced by Mr 11. C. Armstrong, of Melbourne, on behalf of the British Pacific Trust.

Mr Robinson, with his two aviator sons will return to Australia via America, selecting additional staff and equipment. A Melbourne service will be operated with the machines at present in use. as soon as Mr Robinson returns. Mr Armstrong will return later.
