NEW POST OFFICE.
Construction of Dunedin Building. (Special to the “ Star.”) DUNEDIN, July 10. All the steel required for finishing the Dunedin Post Office structure up to the first floor is now delivered on the site and the last of the stanchions made for that part of the building are set in position. The exact number of stanchions up to and including the first floor is niftety-four. For the section to be next raised the number is to be eighty-five, and the limbs of the structure will be somewhat lighter than those already standing. The steel skeleton work is to be suspended as soon as the first floor level is in position to allow the concrete floors and walls of the basement to be proceeded with.
