Detton Awarded Bout With Ali Bey. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, July IS. After a fall against him in the fourth round Dean Detton was awarded the bout against Ali Bey this evening when the Turk was disqualified in the fifth round by the referee, Mr George Bennett. Ali Bey threw Detton over the ropes and then kicked him while he was outside the ring and prevented him getting back. Mr Bennett immediately got out of the ring too and awarded. Detton the bout. The match was interesting, although there was much punching. All Bey secured a fall in the fourth round after battering Def♦on on the solar plexus and head and then dumping him four times with a headlock andi cross buttock. The fall -ame with a body press.
