The second of the series of midday music recitals being - held weekly at Canterbury College was delivered yesterday when selections from Henry Purcell 0 659-95) were rendered to a large and appreciative audience. Mrs W. B. Harris’s vocal numbers were particularly well received. The programme was as follows:—Piano suite, (a) Courante in G Minor, (b) Ha nee in P> Major Mr F. .T. Page. Songs: (a) "The Knotting Song, (1») “ Full Fathom Five Thy Father Pies,” (c) “ Nymphs and Shepherds,” Mrs W. B. Harris. The Golden Sonata for two violins, Miss Norma Middleton and Mrs F. S. Grant, with Mr F. J. Page at the piano.
