“STRIKE IT RICH.”
George Gee Featured in British Comedy.
George Gee, the well-known stage comedian, excels himself in the British comedy*, “ Strike it Rich,” which will be screened finally on Friday night at the Civic Theatre. Catchy songs, brilliant dancing and a story packed full of fun give Gee, in the leading role, plenty of opportunity to display his talent. The story concerns the adventures of a down-trodden clerk, who after being told by a phrenologist that he is a second Napoleon, branches out as a leading light in the business world. Complications that will keep an audience in fits of laughter set in. Excellent supports include latest Pathe News, “ Old Susan ” (scenic), Lion Musical Revue and “ From Sand to Sideboard” (novelty). Plans are open at the theatre from 10 a.m. daily.
