“NO MORE WOMEN.”
Edmund Lowe and Victor M’Laglen Again. “Hips, Ilips, Hooray*!” Wheeler and Woolsey’s latest comedy, and “The Count” (Charlie Chaplin) will be screened finally on Friday* night at the Majestic Theatre. Those robust, roman.ic rcugh-necks, Edmund Lowe and Victor M’Laglen, who made “ Sez you ! ” *and “ Sez me ! ” as famous as “ Come up, and see me sometime!” are again co-starred in the rollicking comedy-d*ama “Xo More \\ omen,” which comes to the Majestic Theatre on Saturday. “Xo More Women,” as far as the title is concerned, should not be taken --riously. When these two fighting levers say-
no more women ” they mean “no more than we can handle at on time.” This time they* are deep-sea divers, acemen on rival salvage tugs. Lowe is satisfied to fight M’Lagien as opposition diver until he sees the prettyowner of the tug cn which M’Laglen works. Then he joins the tug. and Sally* Blane, the owner, has hei hands full “ kidding ” two of them in place of one. Lowe is ‘.nrown into g& )' charged with murder lifter a fight, m which M’Lagien disappears. However, when M’Laglen reappears he is released to help salvage a 2.000.000-dollar sunken treasure. At the bottom of the sea the two rowdy pals encounter rival divers, and then follows one of the most exciting climaxes ever to come out cf Hollywood. The under-water scenes are most il-xr and provide a satisfying dramatic balance for the comedy which abounds in the film. A great supporting programme will include Paramount Pictorial (the world at a glance), “Broadway Nights,” a musical comedy*, Fox Australasian News, a comedy*, “ Fit as a Fiddle,” and a cartoon, “ Let’s All Sing Like the Birdies Sing ” Box plans at the D I.C.
