AFTERNOON BRIDGE PARTY
Miss Rosa Hookham, whose marriage will take place early next month, was the guest of honour at a delightful party held yesterday afternoon by Mrs Frank Burrell at her home, Harev.ood Road. The drawing-room, where the guests played bridge, was tastefully decorated with vases of chrysanthemums, violets and freesias. Miss Hookham received a number of china gifts for her future home. Those present were:—Mesdames N. Farrant, Nicholls, W. H. Price, John Benges, Irwin, F. Cooper. Norrie, E. J. Kenny, Chapman and Alexander Steeds, Misses Rose Hookham, Lou Camm, Peggv Wright, Doris Price, C. Morton and M. Gillanders.
