HORNBY CHURCH MEETING.
The annual meeting of St David’s Presbyterian Church, Hornby, was held, in the church on Thursday, the Moderator, the Rev J. Allan, presiding over a fair attendance of members. The reports of the various organisations showed a satisfactory state of affairs. The treasurer read the church balancesheet, a small credit balance being disclosed. A decision was reached to limit the number of managers to nine, three to retire annually. The Moderator addressed the meeting on the programme to be carried out during the year. The minister, Mr R. W. Brown, thanked those present for their support during his short term of office. At the conclusion of the meeting, supper was served by the ladies.
