PIGEON AS EVIDENCE.
Brought “Good-bye, Forever ’ Message. CHICAGO, June 28. A carrier pigeon was introduced for the first time into the Chicago Divorce Court to-day. Mrs Elizabeth Wituche produced a pigeon which brought a note: “ Goodbye, forever,” signed by her “ The bird was very weary after a long trip, so my husband must have been a long distance away, and meant it,” said the plaintiff. She obtained a decree.
