A party of members of the Swedish Parliament who are paying a visit in return for that of members of the British Parliament, who went to Sweden last year, were received at the Foreign Office by Lord Stanhope. Foreign Under-Secretary, in the unavoidable absence of Sir John Simon. The visitors afterwards went to the Cenotaph, where they laid a wreath. They took luncheon at the House of Commons as the guests of the Interparliamentary Union, and in the afternoon were received by the Lord Chancellor in the House of Lords.
