ORANGE TART. 6oz Fether-Flake baked on a plate, 1 egg, 1 orange (grated rind and juice), 1 slightly heaped tablespoon cornflour, 2 tablespoons sugar, 4-pint water. Mix cornflour, smooth with the orange juice; put all ingredients into the saucepan, excepting the egg. Bring to boil; add yolk of egg. Pour into Fether-Flake case. Cover with meringue made with beaten white and one tablespoon sugar. Brown in cool oven. Fether-Flake is puff pastry of perfect quality ready to bake. A boon for the busy.
