SHIPS COLLIDE OFF SYDNEY.

SYDNEY, June 13. Two coastal steamers, the Bonalbo (960 tons) and the Gwydir (1929 tons), collided near the entrance of Newcastle harbour to-day, large holes being torn in the bows of both vessels above the water-line. The collision occurred in a dense fog, when several vessels, including th* Gwydir, hove-to outside the harbour 'awaiting a chance to enter. Visibility was not more than fifty yaids and toghorns and sirens were kept going for hours.
