LEFT LEG BROKEN.
Man Also Has Fracture of Right Ankle. While unloading corrugated iron from a lorry at K. E. England and Son’s timber yard in St Asaph Street this morning, J. R. England, of 5, Kowhai Terrave, St Albans, was struck by a falling case, and had his left leg fractured between the knee and thigh. His right ankle was also fractured. He was taken to the Christchurch Hospital by the St John Ambulance.
