OBITUARY.

Thomas Young Clark.

The. death of Mr Thomas Young Clark, well known in building and bowling circles, took place at his residence. Trafalgar Street, St Albans, on Saturday. The late Mr Clark, who was fifty-six years of age, was born at Invercargill and as a youth served his apprenticeship at the building trade Mr Clark was a keen bowler and one of the regular skips of the Elmwood Bowling Club. He was also keenlv interested in Rugby football, one of his sons, W. A. Clark, being the half-back in the Old Boys' senior team He is survived by his widow, three sons and three daughters.J. G. Armitage. The death of Mr J. G. Armitage. who was for many years on the staff of Dalgety and Company, Ltd., occurred at his residence. Rolleston Street, Linwood, on Saturday. Mr Armitage was born in Stockport, England, in 1850. but came to New Zealand in the ship Japanese in 1865. lie was a life member of the Christchurch Working Men’s Club and of the Richmond Sw’imming Club. The death occurred suddenly this afternoon of Mr Walter Fuller, a member of the well-known theatrical family, and resident director in New Zealand of the Fuller firm. He was the eldest son of the late Mr John Fuller, sen., who came to New Zealand forty years ago and founded the f jrtunes of the firm. Deceased was sent to London in 1925 to act for the firm there, but upon the replacement of vaudeville by talking pictures he returned to New Zealand and had resided in Wellington since 1929, practically in retirement. Mr Fuller, who was sixtytwo years of age, was a devotee of good music.
