STOLE IN HER SLEEP.
Case Against Nursemaid Dismissed. LONDON. June 4. Kathleen Carpenter, a Lymington nursemaid, charged with the theft of £3 10s from fellow servants, pleaded that she took the money while walking in her sleep. She declared that as a child in Ireland she walked in her sleep and never knew the morning after that she had done so. The case was dismissed.
