50 Crushed to Death and Scores Injured. TRAGEDY IN INDIA. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received Tune 13. 12.30 p.m.) CALCUTTA, June 12. Fifty were crushed to death and scores injured by the collapse of a pilgrims’ hostel in the village of Rahata, near Ahmadnagar, Bombay. The weekly fair was being held in the village when a heavy downpour drove many to shelter in the hostel, on which a big tree fell, wrecking the building.
