“Knows the Facts.”

Dear Sir. A correspondent, ” One of the Couple ” takes me to task for nv' letter concerning the two people who were marooned in a hut. lie states that 1 am not conversant with the facts. Well, sir, seeing and hearing should make one conversant with the facts. In this particular case, I know it was the towing of the disabled car thst caused the breakdown to the rabbiter’s car. and I also saw the broken part in the garage workshop and hea r d what it cost to repair, a little short of £5. I am not concerned x. ith any letter which “ One of the Couple” has. I stated in my letter that I did not think the couple knew of any damage that was done. Also seeing that about twelve outsiders were connected with the rescue one way and another, my complaint was that no word of thanks was mentioned in the article as it appeared in the “ Star M of May 29, but the whole thing was treated as a joke. Further, my first letter was condensed when it appeared in print and it did not show exactly what I was getting at.—l am, etc., SUBSCRIBER.
