HOCKEY TEST MATCH.
Curtain Raiser for Rugby Game. (Special to the “Star.”) DUNEDIN, June 12. The Otago Rugby Union has decided to grant permission for tlie hockey test match, Australia \ T . New Zealand, to be played as a curtain-raiser to the Otago-Wellington Rugby game on September 8 and to grant 25 per cent of the net gate to the Hockey Association. The original date of the test match Avas September 1, but Australia objected to playing a test so early in the tour.
