BURGLARS VISIT SHOP.
Goods Taken Away in Suitcases. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 12. The theft of goods valued at between £SO and £OO from the shop of J. R. M’Kenzie, Ltd., in Newton, during the week-end was discovered- yesterday morning. The stolen articles include a large number of watches, cigarette cases and lighters, wallets and brushes and a considerable quantity of tobacco and cigarettes. There are also missing some suit cases. It is thought the thieves used these to carry away other stolen property.
