Partridge, Fendalton, before leaving for Nelson. Mr and Mrs Vernon Utterson-Kelso left Christchurch last evening for V ejlington en route to Au tralia. It is their intention to leave Sydney at the end of the month to spend the remainder of the winter in Ilong Kong and Frepch Cochin China. Later Mr and Mrs Utter-son-Kelso will travel in Japan and Manehukuo. Mrs W. Bridgewater, Cashmere Road, have left on a trip to Sydney. Mrs Ynyr Robinson. Peel torest, arrived in Christchurch to-day and is the guest of Mrs Llyn Lawrence, Fendalton. Miss Sybil Rutherford. ITaydon Downs, North Canterbury, will be the guest of Miss Mary Alexander at Lincoln, arriving on Thursday next. Mr and Mrs J. R. Templin, Heaton Street, will leave Christchurch on Wednesday, June 27, for America, via Auckland. They expect to * away until the beginning of next year. Dr Allison Ingram, Superintendent of Queen Victoria Hospital. PMelbourne, who has been the guest of Mrs William F. Swan at St Elmo, left last evening l’cr Auckland. Mrs IT. F. Morrison, Motueka, will arrive in Christchurch this evening in order to be present at the Peacock— Dunnage wedding on Thursday. She will stay with her sister, Mrs W. J. LeCren, Murray Place, St Albans. ! Mr and Mrs Mason Waterworth, of Hastings, will arrive at the end of 1 June in Christchurch, where Mr Waterworth has been appointed stock agent for the Loan and Mercantile , Agency Co., Ltd.
