COULD PLAY LEAGUE.
Overtures to French Rugby Union. (Received May 21, 1 p.m.) PARIS, May 20. As the outcome of the Franco-British Rugby Unions’ breakdown, the Secre-tary-General of the British Rugby League has informed the French Federation that fifteen-a-side matches could be organised with British Rugby League teams, despite the refusal of the Rugby Union to reinstate France.
