Draining Lake Ellesmere.
Dear Sir,—ln weather like this, the draining of Lake Ellesmere seems a fantastic day dream. I feel sure our worthy Prime Minister would c hange his ideas & bout small farms on the reclaimed land if ananother aerial trip over the lake could be arranged for him . to-day. Those who talked about draining Ellesmere have fixed round the lake for years, but during the last four dry winters their minds have become warped and distorted. A full lake and flooded roads are signs of a normal winter, not an abnormal one.—l am. etc , WEB-FEET.
