American Horse Has Won £66,592. United Press Assn.—J3y Electric Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, May 5. At Louisville, Mrs Dodge Sloane’s Cavalcade won the sixteenth annual Kentucky Derby, with Mr Alfred Vanderbilt’s Discovery second and Agrarian third. The time was 2min 4sec for a mile and a quarter. The winner earned 28,175 dollars. There was an attendance of 60,000. The track was slow, through At Baltimore, Equipoise won the Dixie Handicap easily. The purse was worth 4190 dollars, bringing his total earnings to 1532 960 dollars, slightly in excess of the figures of Phar Lap arid within striking distance of the record of Sun Beau, 376,744 dollars.
