FORESTERS’ LODGE.

New Canterbury Officers Elected. The annual meeting of the Canterbury District A.O.F. was held at Rakaia yesterday. Brothers Behrnes and S. H. Shellock welcomed the visitors on behalf of the District and local court. Brothers Jacobsen and XV. A. Smith were appointed to represent the District at the meeting to be held at Wellington. It \yas decided to grant Brother Parsonage, of the Wellington District, a credential as representing the Distri«?t. at the centenary in England. Members «tood as a mark of respect to the memory of the late Brothet 6 Mapplebeck, Luce and Wotton. The election of officers resulted: D.C.R., Brother W. A. Smith: D.S.C.R , Brother W. D. Brown; D. 8., Brother W. J. Wraight; D.T., Brother W. A. Weakley; auditors, Brothers E. Rudkin and W. Hart. Brother J. H. Ward, 1.P.D.C.R., was presented with a jewel and framed certificate by Brother C. M’Arthur. Brother Sey described a suitable design for a bannerette for the courts to be used at the church parade, and it was decided to obtain one for each court. A request to link up with the No More War Movement considereti, and it was decided not to take any Brother 11. Duffell, secretary of Court Pride of Rangiora, was welcomed to the meeting. The invitation of Court Star of Belfast to hold the meetnig there next May was accepted. After the meeting the Rakaia ladies entertained the delegates at supper.
