ST PETER’S GIRLS’ CLUB.
The annual meeting of St Peter’s Girls’ Bible Class and Club was held recently in the Parish Hall, • Riccarton. Mrs H. T. York (president) occupied the chair and there was a good attendance. Miss May Purvis (secretary) presented the annual report and bal-ance-sheet. which revealed a credit balance of £l2 16s sd. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs H. T. York: vice-presidents, Mesdames John Studholme. W. Ballantyne, J. Bailey, G. Sandry and Ward, Misses L. and N. Hay ton and L. Bowen: secretary, Miss Alison Willtams; treasurer. Miss Doreen Rose; sub-leader, Mias Nellie Barnett: Bible reading secretary. Miss Eunice Buckley; magazine secretary. Miss Kl.anor Ackcrlcy; committee. Misses Mira Knight, Betsy Purvis and May Purvis; concert committee. Misses Freda Davison. Doreen Rose. Alison Williams. Nellie Barnett and May Purvis. Votes of thanks were extended to the Rev H. T. York and Airs York. Archdeacon G. W. York and all retiring officers.
