“ Rasputin and the Empress ” will be sho-wn finally tonight at the Grand Theatre. A new copy of “Song o’ My Heart” will be featured at the Grand Theatre to-morrow It brings to the talking screen the voice and personality of one of the world’s greatest tenors. The Irish singer, John MCormack, is the star, and in “Song o’ My Heart” he makes his first appearance as a screen actor. It is M’Cormack’s delightful voice heard in eleven well-known songs that gives the picture its strongest appeal, but it is much more than merely the background for a recital by the famous tenor, telling the story of an ambitious Irish singer whose life is marred by a broken romance. M’Cormack shows that besides being a great singer he is also a good actor and he makes his part a real thing.
