KIRWEE PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The annual meeting of the Kirwee Sub-branch of the Plunket Society was held on Tuesday. The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory credit. The following officers were elected:—Patron. Mrs H. A. Knight; president. Mrs Selby; vice-presidents, Mesdames A. Anderson, F. Johnston, D. Penney; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mrs W. Irvine; committee, Mesdames Gillman. Kennedy. Burleigh. Stott, Coffey. Weir. Nurse Finlayson spoke on the adequate feeding and clothing of children during winter. It was decided to give sgns to the Karitane appeal.
